Morning Coffee

This morning I was sitting out on my front porch, drinking my coffee and sharing my time with The Lord, my Abba Father, Daddy.

I was reading the book of Romans, 7:9 to be exact. I read, but you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit. IF indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you.

The word IF stood out to me and I thought and I spoke to God saying, "I know that You live in me. I feel Your presence at my core. Inviting You into my life was the best thing I have ever done!"

A feeling of Love and Comfort washed over me, covering me and filling me.

I continued to read, Now if anyone does not have The Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

I thought, "Oh Lord, I am Yours! I do have The Spirit of Christ!" and an amzing Peace came over me, I could feel God holding my spirit like a hug and in that moment I knew without a doubt that nothing could ever harm me -the true me- my eternal spirit, the me that will live forever in God's presence.

I knew in that moment that there was nothing in this world or lifetime that was more important than my relationship with Jesus. In that single moment God held me and showed me His Love, Protection, Peace, Comfort and Joy; and a desire rose up in me that all would know this intimacy with the One True Living God. The God Who Loves us even in our sin. The God Who creted each and every one of us with a plan and a purpose to prosper us. The God Who is willing to meet us right where we are, even if it is in the middle of a mess.

This is my prayer for you today, that you invite Jesus to meet you right where you are today, into the middle of your mess, and that you too can know this amazing Love.
